Our mission is to help unhoused people move towards self-sufficiency and find a safe home in our community.
What We Do
Comprehensive and integrated services to find affordable housing, public assistance programs, resources and mentors. We also develop and share self-service tools.
We invest the time, effort and mentorship needed to help clients. We "hold their hand", if needed, to help reduce their worry and stress as we navigate a highly complex system, together. We collaborate heavily with other organizations to support our clients.
Whole Person Advocacy
We work with each client to determine a roadmap to self-sufficiency. We navigate the complexities of housing and benefits applications. We advocate for and help each client, wherever they are on their journey back to self-sufficiency.
Tools
We develop, share and maintain free tools for people in need, and others in our community, to more easily find housing and assistance.
Mentoring
We match our clients with mentors who work with them to set goals, develop career paths, find resources and offer financial coaching to help clients set budgets and manage money. Guidance, motivation, emotional support and role modeling are critical to helping clients achieve self-sufficiency!
Who We Serve
Unhoused or financially vulnerable community members.
Our clients are people in our community who are facing extreme financial hardship. Most of them grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area or have been living and working here for many years before experiencing a single bad event which forced them to live in their cars or on the streets.
According to the 2022 Point-in-Time count, 25% of homelessness in Santa Clara County was caused by job loss and another 13% was caused by eviction.
Our clients are resilient and are working hard to overcome these challenges to get back on their feet and become self-sufficient again, but they need help and support from their community. They deserve the chance to have a normal life like everybody else and they deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Santa Clara County, California.
To complement meal, shower, and laundry programs offered by Hope's Corner, we provide our critical services at the corner of Hope and Mercy Streets in Mountain View every Saturday, 8 am-10 am, and Wednesday, 8 am-9 am. When possible, we visit RV and homeless camps in collaboration with other organizations to reach those who can’t get to us in Mountain View.
